The MARS MKII sling is the result of 3 years of testing, rebuilding, refinement, and retesting.

Built from the need to have a minimalist sling that has the capability and features of more expensive offerings, we designed this to be THE MOST durable, minimalistic, and modular sling in the entire industry.

Our MARS sling has the most comfortable, low profile, and modular sling pad ever built, and it can also be fully removed or adjusted to fit you perfectly. We also have the smoothest quick-adjusting slider buckle ever built. YES, we absolutely stand behind that. Quickly tighten the rifle to your body when not in use, or fully extend the sling to give you the room you need to maneuver instantly.
All this, and many more features found below come in at a price point under many of the most prominent slings on the market.

MKII UPDATES: 

• STATE OF THE ART ‘Molle’ sling pad: Custom built & manufactured to make MARS the most comfortable sling in the world. 2.25″ width, .25″ thick padding. Still quite thin, yet highly comfortable even with larger rifles being slung for long periods of time. We added thick/strong laser cut Squadron material for the MOLLE, this adds the ability to hold cord, chems, zip ties, extra pew rounds (Now available in our store), etc.

• CUSTOMIZATION: We’ve got an epic selection of MARS slings and Molle pads in many different patterns/colors. Mix and match as you like! The pads are user-replaceable and adjustable, meaning that any of our pads can be swapped out with another, and than adjusted to your shoulder for the perfect fit.

SCALABLE & MODULAR.

• We built this sling to be scalable. Meaning that our base sling can be user-upgraded at any time (with or without) our MARKII pads, 2-1 adapter, and ALL rifle attachment hardware.

• MARS comes with a generous amount of length to fit any rifle platform or body, large or small.

• Have excess webbing hanging off on the ends from sizing down the sling to fit you better? CUT IT OFF AND BURN THE ENDS WITH A LIGHTER. Leave a bit extra just incase, but don’t be afraid to shorten it. Our USA made nylon webbing will burn and seal perfectly so there is no fraying.

FULL METAL HARDWARE.

• Incredibly durable, reliable and lightweight STEEL tri-glides. Built in the USA by ITW.

• Heavy duty iron center loop. (This center loop can be replaced by the end user with a Cobra buckle or any 1″ buckle at any time, this process adds a quick-detach point to the center of the sling.)

IWC 2-1 TRIGLIDE ADAPTER

• Rapid 2 point to 1 point conversion. Simply remove the front QD swivel or HK hook and attach it into the adapter at the rear of your rifle, effectively turning your 2 point sling into a 1 point sling. This can be very easily done in a few seconds. TRAIN WITH YOUR SYSTEM. GET GOOD, GET FAST, GET CONSISTENT. It doesn’t matter what sling or adapters you use, train and become proficient with what you have.

SHOCK CORD SLING STOWAWAY.

• Included with every sling, our shock cord retainer is designed to hold the sling close to the rifle when not in use or when transporting.

• Simply fold your sling pad around the back side of your buttstock, then lift the elastic retainer over the pad to hold it tight in place when not in use. (Video coming soon)

• 2-1 Triglide adapter easily threads onto any MARS sling. Remove the already attached rear triglide and replace it with the 2-1 adapter which takes its place allowing seamless two point to single point sling transitions.

2-1 ADAPTER PRACTICAL USE:

(We recommend 2 point slings almost all the time when using a rifle sling. However, there are specific uses where a single point sling may be highly beneficial.)

FROM IWC:
The 2 To 1 Point Triglide allows you to rapidly convert your Two Point Sling into a One Point Sling, on the run, when extra maneuverability is required, and then back to a Two Point for extra stability or when carrying the weapon. The 2 To 1 Point Triglide allows you to leverage the best of both sling types.

In order to understand why IWC designed the 2 To 1 Point Triglide, it’s important to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the various types of slings on the market.

1. A One Point Sling is so called because it only attaches to the rifle at a single point, at the rear of the rifle, or the lower receiver using an end plate. The One Point Sling has the advantage of allowing the rifle to transition quickly and easily to either the strong or weak side shoulder with no adjustments. They also tend to allow the operator to move to any shooting position without adjustment (like standing to prone). The main weakness of the One Point Sling is that it allows the muzzle to swing like a pendulum when the user removes their hands from the rifle.
2. Two Point Slings attach to the rifle at 2 points; one at the front of the rifle and one at the rear. This is a very sturdy and comfortable configuration, especially for longer operations. Though, as dynamic as a properly configured Two Point Sling can be, it still can’t match a One Point Sling for maneuverability.

The 2 To 1 Point Triglide allows you to reconfigure your sling as a One Point or Two Point on the fly to deal with the specific situation you’re facing. Now we don’t recommend single point sling usage for the majority of situations… But when the need arises and you need to be high speed clearing buildings with the utmost maneuverability, we highly recommend single point.

Our slings are built to come with an excess amount of webbing. When the sling has been properly fitted to your body, you can stow away the excess 1” webbing into the included Tri-glides OR cut the extra non needed webbing with a knife and burn the ends with a lighter. (Please take into account plate carrier fitment if you decide to cut webbing)
